An MMS issue I'd assume is more likely the carrier/service providers fault or phone MMS settings. They did just fix an issue with the MMS messages sent from the Signal app to non Signal users being too compressed, they are now x minimum, but that shouldn't impact receiving. And the phone switches between the subscriptions. After crashing the radio (unintentionally) it reinitializes and actually configures the mms config for subscription 2. Once the mms config is config'd, it's able to download the MMS without issue. It appears not to be a problem with Signal but 3rd party SMS/MMS apps in general.
